He began teaching business courses part time, and eventually decided to shift his career to academia. He earned his PhD in business technology management at Claremont Graduate University.

He holds business faculty positions in Southern California, the New York City area, and Portland, Oregon. His current work involves business data analytics, curriculum development, and online teaching. As time allows, he mentors entrepreneurs (startups and small business owners). He certainly enjoys the enthusiasm and fresh ideas of students and entrepreneurs!to help the organisation gain new insights and advice to solve organisation problems or explore new opportunities by stimulating robust, high-quality conversations and also to provide current knowledge, critical thinking, and analysis to increase the confidence of the decision-makers who represent the organisation.
